Sitting just off The Northern Road in Penrith South, The Pioneer Tavern is a local favourite and pillar in the community.

Our spacious Family Bistro is the perfect place to meet and share a meal with loved ones. We are known for our enormous schnitzel menu, but that is only the beginning. Our menu features succulent steaks, fresh seafood, wholesome pasta, plus all the pub favourites you know and love.
If you're after a drink, look no further than our Sports Bar. Pop in for a beer to end a long day at work, or settle in with your mates to raise a glass while catching all the action on the screen.
Family Bistro
Our spacious Family Bistro is the perfect place to host a family lunch, long overdue dinner with friends, an intimate date night, or any other occasion.
Our menu takes inspiration from our local surroundings and producers, and you'll have to do a double take on our enormous schnitzel menu. With 21 topper varieties to choose from, you'll have your work cut out for you.
We have all the pub classics you know and love. The little ones are covered too, with a dedicated kids menu to keep our smallest guests happy.
With indoor or outdoor seating, book a table online or head in and speak to our team. Our Bistro is open from 11:00 am Monday to Saturday, and from 9:00 am on Sunday.
Sports Bar
If you're after a drink, there's no going past our Sports Bar.
We wouldn't be your local if we didn't have a huge range of ice cold beer on tap or a large selection of cider, wine and spirits. Settle in with your mates and catch the game on one of our TV screens, or head to one of our lounges to relax with a well-earned beverage.
